Champion Athleticwear, the lifestyle brand of HanesBrands, debuted Wednesday its newest innovation in Eco Future Reverse Weave.
The innovation features CiCLO technology — what Champion touted as “a patented and science-based solution that allows synthetic textiles to behave more like natural fibers when they enter the environment.”
The Eco Future Reverse Weave is designed to reduce plastic textile fibers, and thus microplastic pollution, in the environment by giving polyester an eventual expiration date. The collection also features dyes with ingredients derived from nature, including pomegranate, annatto fruit and terminalia chebula fruit.
The collection features crewnecks and joggers and becomes available in-store and on Champion.com beginning Dec. 6.
