Trident Group has declared its intention to spend US $ 354 million in Madhya Pradesh’s textile industry, increasing its workforce in the state to over 15,000 workers. This was announced by Chairman Rajinder Gupta at the Invest Madhya Pradesh: Regional Industry Conclave held at Narmadapuram.
Chairman Rajinder Gupta stated that the company previously invested US $ 590 million in the state of Madhya Pradesh a few years ago and today the products Trident makes are exported to 122 countries with the demand growing. Trident Group intends to contribute an extra US $ 354 million to the textile industry in the state.
Gupta added that the company will be making sure that the profits from this enterprise remain in Madhya Pradesh, from obtaining cotton to manufacturing the final product.
