Têxteis JF Almeida (JFA) will be at New York Home Fashions Market next week with its extensive product portfolio, which highlights a strong commitment to sustainability.
The Portuguese manufacturer will be introducing products from new fibers and special finishes that marry sustainable product with design and comfort.
“The demands of the North American market are an incentive for us. We want to reinforce our presence, gaining more and more customers focused on their well-being, but also demand compliance with all textile industry sustainability criteria,” said Juliana Almeida, marketing director at JFA.
Established in 1979 in Guimarães, Portugal’s home textiles hub, JFA is a vertical company equipped with a modern industrial park. It currently employees more than 830 professionals, ensuring its clients fast deliveries.
It operations include spinning, twisting, weaving, dyeing, finishing and manufacturing along with 24-hour in-house laboratory services, packaging and shipping.
The company has an extensive portfolio in the home textile universe, as well as in raw yarn and dyed yarn. Exports make up 80% of the production.
JFA’s in-house design department assists in all stages of product development for a multitude of categories. JFA produces bath towels, bathrobes, tablecloths, beach towels, bed linen and homewear as well as products for pets, aviation and hospitality.
“We are the result of more than 40 years of experience in creating the home of home textiles. And want the American market to be part of this path,” said Almeida.
