The item that achieved the highest growth in exports was jewelry (165%), followed by metallurgy (84.2%), textile-apparel (72%), hydrocarbons (62.2%), fishing (42%) , chemical (30%) and agroexport (18%).

In agro-exports, the rise in shipments abroad of avocado or avocado (41.4%) stood out, which registered sales of 1,156 million dollars and blueberry or blueberry (29.7%), which approached 1,000 million dollars in sales.

Likewise, fish exports grew 42% due to higher sales of scallops (92%), fishmeal and fish oil (61% and 50%) and fish fillet (44.5%).

In the metallurgical sector, the higher sales of copper wire stood out (105%); and in the textile-apparel sector there was an increase in sales of wool and fine hair pieces (75%), as well as cotton (70%).

The main destinations for Peruvian exports are Asia, with 46.6% of total trade, and especially China, which made purchases of minerals and fishery products for 25,745 million dollars.

In turn, trade with Europe increased 33% driven by higher sales of natural gas to the United Kingdom and the European Union, while exports to the United States rose 15%.
